Ride Moab's
legendary
trails.

Half-Day All Skill Levels Family-Friendly Private Guide Ages 8+

There's a reason riders talk about Moab like it's sacred ground. Slickrock, flow trails, wide-open canyon views — this is the real thing. We'll pick the right trails for your group and put you on them.

The Trip

Moab on two wheels.
Your way.

There's a reason Moab is on every mountain biker's bucket list — the trail system here is unlike anywhere else on earth. Slickrock that feels like riding on another planet. Flow trails threading through canyon walls. Ledge drops and technical features for riders who want them, mellower routes for those who don't.

On this private, guided half-day trip, your guide builds the day around your crew. Beginners get trail confidence and coaching. Stronger riders get challenged. Families get a genuinely fun day, not just a tour. Whatever your style, we've got trails that match.

This isn't a cattle drive. You ride with one guide who knows Moab's trail network inside and out — and who makes sure you leave with a bigger grin than you arrived with.

Your Day

What to expect
on the trail.

Every half-day trip is structured around your group. Your guide handles logistics, reads the terrain, coaches technique in real time, and keeps the experience moving at your pace.

01

Trail Briefing & Meet-Up

We start with a quick gear check and trail briefing at the meeting point. Your guide walks through the plan, confirms skill levels, and answers any questions before you clip in.

02

Guided Ride on Selected Trails

Your guide selects trails that fit your crew. Beginners ride routes that build confidence on slickrock. Intermediate riders get features worth bragging about. Families get a legitimate adventure, not a tourist spin.

03

Real-Time Technique Coaching

This is where a guided trip earns its keep. Improve your body position on slickrock, learn how to read terrain, and get trail tips that make every ride after this one better.

04

Local Trail Knowledge

Your guide knows which trails are riding perfectly today, which to avoid, and what Moab features are worth saving your energy for. Zero guesswork on your end.

05

Photo Moments & Epic Views

Moab's scenery is the backdrop. Red canyon walls, desert towers, open sky. Your guide knows exactly where to stop for the best views — and the best shot.

06

A Tailored Send-Off

Wrap up with trail recommendations for your next Moab visit, local tips from someone who rides here year-round, and the kind of trip debrief that only a local can give.

Common Questions

What you
want to know.

You do not need to own a bike. Moab has excellent bike rental shops with a wide range of hardtails and full-suspension options. When you book your trip with us, we'll point you to the right rental partner. Just plan ahead during peak spring and fall seasons — rental inventory moves fast.
A reasonable baseline fitness is helpful, but we calibrate everything to your group. Trail selection, pace, rest stops — your guide adjusts on the fly. If you can walk a couple of miles, you can join this trip. We ride at the pace of the group, not the other way around.
Yes — we welcome riders ages 8 and up. Moab has a surprising number of beginner-friendly trails that are fun for kids without being boring for adults. Let us know the ages and riding experience of your youngest riders when you book and we'll match the trail to them.
Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) are prime season — mild temperatures, firm trails, and optimal conditions. Summer riding is absolutely possible but starts early to beat the afternoon heat. Winter can offer surprisingly good riding on certain trails. Book spring and fall trips early as dates fill up fast.
We require at least 14 days' notice for cancellations and rescheduling. With 14+ days' notice, we will work with you to find a new date or provide a partial refund if you need to cancel entirely. Cancellations inside 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable and rescheduling will require full payment again.
Included: your certified private guide, trail selection expertise, real-time coaching, and the local knowledge that money can't buy elsewhere. Not included: bike rentals, food, or transportation to the trailhead (we'll share exact logistics at booking). Questions about specifics? Just ask when you reach out.
