One full day.
Deep in the canyons.
All yours.
A private guided full day canyoneering experience in Moab's legendary red rock terrain. Multiple rappels, narrows slot canyons, and a certified guide who knows every inch of the Colorado Plateau — tailored entirely to your group.
The complete Moab
canyoneering day.
Moab sits at the center of some of the planet's most extraordinary canyon terrain. Slot canyons carved by ancient rivers, sheer sandstone walls, and drops that make your heart race — this is the landscape a full day lets you actually live in.
Unlike a quick half-day sampler, a full day tour moves deeper, goes further, and gives your guide the time to read your group's energy and keep raising the bar. More rappels. More exploration. More of the kind of day you'll be talking about for years.
This tour is 100% private. You will not share it with strangers. The route, the pace, and the experience are built around your group — whether that's a first-timer family, a pair of adventurous friends, or a crew looking to push their technical skills.

How the day flows.
A Clapper Adventures full day is deliberately paced — enough challenge to feel genuinely accomplished, enough breathing room to actually absorb where you are.
Meet & Head Out
Meet your guide in Moab, gear up, and get a route briefing. We head out early to catch the best canyon light and beat the midday desert heat.
Skills + First Rappels
Your guide walks through anchors, body position, and brake control before you go over the edge. First rappels build confidence — then we push further in.
Deeper Terrain
Technical rappels, narrows, stemming sections, and canyon exploration. Lunch break in a spot your guide has hand-picked. No restaurant can top it.
Final Drops & Return
The best rappel of the day often comes last. We wrap with legs tired, grins wide, and return to Moab with time left to plan tomorrow.
Moab's best canyons.
We know them all.
Route selection depends on your group's skill level, conditions, and what sounds most compelling. These are a few of the classics — your guide will recommend the right fit when you inquire.
Bow & Arrow
A technical full day classic featuring sustained rappels, chimney moves, and beautifully sculpted sandstone architecture. One of Moab's most rewarding desert canyon routes.
Morning Glory
Named for its stunning morning light, Morning Glory Canyon offers accessible terrain with genuine desert canyon character — an excellent option for groups with mixed experience levels.

No prior experience needed at all. The full day format gives us plenty of time to build skills in a natural, low-pressure way.
Sturdy, closed-toe trail runners or hiking shoes with good grip are essential. Dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate layers — mornings can be cool and afternoons warm, especially in shoulder seasons. Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, at least 3 liters of water, a full lunch, snacks, and a camera. We'll send a detailed packing list when you confirm your booking.
Yes — 100%. Clapper Adventures does not combine strangers on tours. When you book a full day canyoneering trip, that day is reserved exclusively for your group. The route, the pacing, and the experience are built around you. No shared shuttles, no waiting for other parties.
Participants should be at least 8 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We understand plans change. We ask that you contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Specific cancellation terms will be included in your booking confirmation.
